PHOTOS: Kid’s Day At Burien/Normandy Park Fire Department

This Saturday (Sep 18) the Burien and Normandy Park Fire Department threw open the doors of Station 28 in Burien and invited kids from the local community to come learn about safety while having fun.

The day’s events included demonstrations of rescue techniques, hands-on activities including scavenger hunts and an opportunity to use a fire hose, plenty of fire trucks and rescue vehicles, and prizes for the kids.

Photographers Nicholas Johnson and Michael Brunk were on hand and took the following photos.
