If it’s the last weekend in September, it means it’s the fourth annual Oktoberfest Celebration at Elliott Bay Brewhouse and Pub in Burien.
Located right across from Burien’s Town Square at 4th SW and SW 152nd, you’ll find tons of traditional German fun, food and beer all day starting at 9:30am and through closing at 12-Midnight.
The Pub will have food specials all day as well as a special Oktoberfest Menu, an outdoor beer garden and live music from 3pm – 10pm inside. The musical line-up includes:
- Mellifluous Zephyrs are back this year by popular demand where they’ll be playing traditional German Polka Music on wind instuments
- The Bonnie Birch Bavarian Band will play traditional style of Bavarian music which includes Bonnie playing her accordian.
Be sure to plan on a Chicken Dance or two for you and your family. If you don’t know how to do the chicken dance, here’s an online lesson:
We’re told they’ll have a traditional German beer called Spaten on tap as well as Hop Von Boorian, brewed in their B-Town location and named after Burien’s founding father as well as a full selection of their home brewed suds.
