The Des Moines Legacy Foundation’s “Bootlegger’s Brunch” fundraiser for Senior Services will be held on Sunday, Nov. 7th from 10am – 1pm at Anthony’s HomePort Restaurant, and this year’s theme will be a flashback to the glory days of prohibition, speakeasies, rum runners and flapper girls.
This fundraiser brunch will include the sale of $10 and $25 mystery bags, raffles, a Gin Joint costume contest, a Rum Runners Restaurant Board of local restaurants, live and silent auctions and much more, including an Anthony’s-prepared champagne brunch buffet feast.
This annual event supports a very worthy cause, Des Moines/Normandy Park Senior Center programs and services.
Tickets may be purchased for $75.00 per person ($60 of which is tax deductible).
