TRAFFIC ALERT: Road Closures for Sunday’s ‘Cove to Clover’ Race

The Normandy Park Police Department would like to remind residents that the Cove to Clover 10k/5k race will be occurring this Sunday, March 11, starting at 12:30 p.m.

The 10k race will begin at the Normandy Park Towne Center at 199th and 1st Ave S.

The 5k race will begin at Shorebrook and 12th Ave SW approximately 30 minutes later.

“We ask for citizens patience during this event,” police said. “If you do have to drive through the area please be cautious for runners or walkers. Also, be advised you may be asked to stop and wait for runners to clear an intersection before proceeding.”

“Sorry for any inconvenience the race causes to residents,” said Race Director John Nelson. “We encourage you to park off of the closed streets, especially if you need to leave your home sometime during the closure times outlined on the documents below.”
