An Artist’s Reception featuring Daniel McManus will be held Saturday, Jan. 5 from 5 – 7 p.m. at Normandy Park City Hall Council Chambers, located at 801 SW 174th Street.
This is an opportunity to meet the artist and enjoy his current exhibit in the council chambers.
There will be live music and folks in Carnival costumes! Light refreshments will be on hand.
“Born of the unholy union of an underage beauty queen and a San Jose outlaw biker with illusions of Texan Cowboy grandeur, spat out into the barren post-apocalyptic wastelands of California and raised in the brutal binary social engineering laboratories of Southeast Idaho, Daniel McManus has burst into the antiseptic Seattle arts scene astride a flaming Harley, with his eyebrow cocked at a devilishly jaunty angle—camera in one hand, bass in the other, and a mustache being twirled by a secret quantum third hand,” reads an announcement.
