Here’s the traffic lowdown for the 4th of July in Normandy Park

On Wednesday (June 26), the City of Normandy Park released the following Traffic Advisory for the 4th of July:

Next Thursday, July 4th, will be the Normandy Park 4th of July Parade. The parade runs from Marvista Elementary to the Cove property off of SW Shorebrook. There will be a fun run that starts at 10:25, followed by the vehicle/bicycle/pedestrian parade at 10:30.

Residents and Visitors of Normandy Park can expect Marine View Dr SW to be shut down for at least one hour while the parade makes its way to the Beach. Please be cautious when trying to weave your way through the City. There will be approximately 2,000 participants in the parade, so keep your eyes open and drive safe.

We are expecting almost all of our Council Members to be in the parade and the new City Manager, Glenn Akramoff, has mentioned he may be there too. This is another great opportunity to meet your Police/Fire/Elected and Appointed Officials. I hope to see your there.
