Former Seattle Mariner Jay Buhner will be at Normandy Park Market Saturday

Normandy Park Market (an Advertiser) invites all baseball fans to a special meet and greet with Seattle Mariners Hall of Fame outfielder Jay Buhner this Saturday, Oct. 4, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Guests will have an opportunity to meet the former Mariner and take photos.

“Our community is a huge priority for us here at Normandy Park Market and the rest of the Normandy Park Towne Center,” said Paul Wilcox, owner of Normandy Park Market. “So I’m thrilled members of the community and baseball fans everywhere will have a wonderful opportunity to meet with an iconic baseball figure such as Jay Buhner.”

Buhner retired at the end of the 2001 season as one of the most recognizable players in Mariners history.

“His major league baseball career is legendary,” said Tom T. O’Keefe, CEO of O’Keefe companies and owner of Normandy Park Towne Center. “Jay has always been personally involved with charities concerning cystic fibrosis and juvenile diabetes, as well as finding special ways to give back to the community, truly making him a distinguished figure on and off the field.”
