Normandy Park City Manager’s Report for week ending July 25, 2025
Come Together for Safety and Community: Join Normandy Park’s National Night Out – August 5, 2025
Mark your calendars and invite your neighbors—National Night Out is back! On Tuesday, August 5, 2025, Normandy Park residents are invited to gather for a fun, family-friendly evening that celebrates community spirit and strengthens partnerships between law enforcement and the people they serve.
What is National Night Out?
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. Communities across all 50 states will turn on their porch lights and head outside to connect with neighbors, local police officers, firefighters, and city officials.
Here in Normandy Park, National Night Out isn’t just a tradition—it’s a celebration of who we are as a city: connected, compassionate, and committed to looking out for each other.
Why Attend the Normandy Park Event? Normandy Park’s National Night Out event is more than just a block party, it’s an opportunity to:
- Meet your neighbors and build the kind of relationships that create strong, resilient communities.
- Connect with first responders from the Normandy Park Police Department, including PAWS on Patrols, and our local non-profits. Learn more about public safety initiatives and the important work they do every day.
- Enjoy free food, games, and activities for all ages!
- Get involved with local organizations and city programs that work year-round to make Normandy Park a safe and welcoming place to live.
Whether you’ve lived in Normandy Park for decades or you’re new to the community, this is the perfect time to come together, get informed, and have some fun.
