Music, culture and beautiful nature will fill the air this August – starting this Friday, Aug. 8, 2025 – at the Highline SeaTac Botanical Garden with a FREE, family-friendly outdoor concert series every Friday evening through the end of the month.

The “Music in the Garden” series invites the community to bring low-back chairs or blankets and enjoy performances by a diverse lineup of musicians and cultural groups in a scenic garden setting.

Performance Schedule

  • Kicking off the series on Friday, Aug. 8, is ADEFUA, a group known for its vibrant performances of West African music and dance.
  • On Aug. 15, jazz trio Threocracy will bring smooth, improvisational sounds to the stage.
  • Closing out the month on Aug. 22 will be Lemana Polynesian Revue, featuring traditional Polynesian music and dance.

Each concert begins in the early evening and is FREE to attend.

Visitors are encouraged to arrive early, bring a picnic, and enjoy the garden before the performances.
