Bird Walk at Nature Trails Park will be Sunday, April 21

Join Naturalist Kevin O’Malley, from South Sound Nature School on a guided walk to discover birds at Nature Trails Park in Normandy Park on Sunday morning, April 21, 2024.

This free event will take place between 8:30 – 10:30 a.m.

• After a brief introduction and presentation, the group will walk the forest to search for wildlife.
• Class will focus on local bird identification and behavior. Birding is a fascinating recreational activity, and you will learn to talk about what you are hearing & seeing.
• Nature Trails Park has both forest & creek habitats which leads to a great bird diversity.
• We will ask you to fine tune your senses to notice the slightest bird activity. Discussing the importance of studying the birds in your backyard!
• Binoculars are recommended but not required.
