DESCRIPTION:Join Naturalist Kevin O’Malley\, from South Sound Nature School on a guided walk to discover birds at Nature Trails Park in Normandy Park on Sunday morning\, April 21\, 2024. \nThis free event will take place between 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. \n\nAfter a brief introduction and presentation\, the group will walk the forest to search for wildlife.\nClass will focus on local bird identification and behavior. Birding is a fascinating recreational activity\, and you will learn to talk about what you are hearing & seeing.\nNature Trails Park has both forest & creek habitats which leads to a great bird diversity.\nWe will ask you to fine tune your senses to notice the slightest bird activity. Discussing the importance of studying the birds in your backyard!\nBinoculars are recommended but not required.\n\nRSVP for this FREE event through Eventbrite.
