SUMMARY:Normandy Park Costume Exchange coming to Fall Frolic
DESCRIPTION:Normandy Park families can donate children’s Halloween costumes and find another outfit to enjoy at a Costume Exchange during Fall Frolic on Saturday\, Oct. 17. \nThe city of Normandy Park and Waste Management are partnering on the exchange\, which runs from 10 a.m. to Noon at City Hall (map below)\, according to their announcement. \n“Have a costume your family no longer needs? Bring it to City Hall and give it another chance to make someone’s Halloween special!” organizers said. \nDonations of clean\, gently used or new children’s costumes can be dropped off inside Normandy Park City Hall. Families can then visit the exchange at Fall Frolic to look for a costume. \nThe effort encourages residents to reuse and share costumes while keeping them out of the landfill\, organizers said. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n

SUMMARY:Normandy Park’s Fall Frolic brings free pumpkins to City Hall Park
DESCRIPTION:Normandy Park’s Fall Frolic will bring free pumpkins\, warm drinks\, music and a costume exchange to City Hall Park from 10 a.m. to Noon on Saturday\, Oct. 17\, the city announced. \nThe free family event will take place at City Hall Park (map below). Construction at Marvista Park prompted the location change this year. \nFamilies can take or leave a costume at the Waste Management booth. The city is encouraging participants to reuse costumes and recycle textiles and other reusable items at the event to help keep them out of landfills. \nPumpkins will be available free while supplies last. \nMore info here. \nHelp Normandy Park PD “Cram-A-Cruiser”\nNormandy Park Police will collect pet supplies for Burien CARES during a “Cram a Cruiser” donation drive at this event\, from 10 a.m. to Noon. Needed items include towels\, wet and dry pet food\, clumping cat litter\, flea treatment and other pet care supplies.
