Normandy Park residents are invited to celebrate the season with a 50’s-themed Solstice Soiree on Saturday, Dec. 13, from 6 to 9 p.m.

The event, hosted by the Normandy Park Arts Commission, will be held at the Normandy Park Community Club, also known as The Cove (map below).

The city described the soiree as an evening of food and festive entertainment featuring live music from Robbie Dee’s Tribute to Elvis and holiday classics played by DJ Calico.

Beer and wine will be hosted by The Friends of Normandy Park Foundation.

City staff said this year’s soiree aims to highlight pieces of local history. To support that effort, the city is asking residents to submit family photographs from past Normandy Park holiday seasons, especially retro themed images. Photos should be sent to the City Clerk by Friday, Nov. 28, at 2 p.m. at esmith@normandyparkwa.gov.

The city described the Solstice Soiree as a “must attend winter event” and encouraged guests to dress in sparkly retro festive attire.
