All are invited to help plant trees and shrubs during a spring volunteer event at Nature Trails Park on Saturday, Mar. 21, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Nature Trails Park.
The City of Normandy Park and its Park Commissioners will host the “Spring into the Park” event, and are seeking volunteers to help install new shrubs, trees and plants as part of a park restoration effort.
Participants are encouraged to bring gloves and their favorite work tools to assist with planting and other landscaping activities.
The event will also feature a family activity along the park’s Enchanted Trail where participants can build fairy and gnome homes.
City officials said the event is free and open to people of all ages.
