The Normandy Park Police Foundation is asking neighborhood groups to share plans for National Night Out events ahead of Tuesday, Aug. 4, as part of an effort to strengthen Block Watch connections across the city.

The foundation said it wants to support neighborhood gatherings throughout Normandy Park and identify active Block Watch groups, neighborhood watches and other neighborhood groups planning events around National Night Out.

The effort is intended to better connect the city’s 12 Normandy Park Provinces by sharing contact information with each province’s Block Watch coordinator, according to the foundation.

Groups with events planned are asked to send their neighborhood or province, date and time, location and contact person, if applicable, to info@normandyparkpolicefoundation.org.

“By working together, we can strengthen neighborhood connections, improve communication, and continue building a safer, more connected Normandy Park,” the foundation said.
