King County Fire District No. 2 will host its annual free Kids Day event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, at Station 28 in Burien (map below).
Activities listed by the district include climbing aboard a fire engine, live demonstrations, fire safety lessons, games, prizes, face painting, food and other family activities.
The free event is aimed at families and children in Burien and nearby South King County communities.
