Dry Spell, a specialty 100% non-alcoholic bottle shop, has moved from its original pop-up location near BECU to their new, permanent home tucked into the back of exotic indoor plant shop Growing Crazy, at 636 SW 152nd Street, Suite E (map below).

Dry Spell and Growing Crazy share the space but operate as separate businesses, with their own checkout counters and staff. With so much overlap in their customers’ interests, the two businesses are already planning collaborative events and classes for the months ahead.

One of the first collaborations between Dry Spell and Growing Crazy will be a joint grand re-opening party on Friday, Oct. 16, from 4-7 p.m. Supporters of both businesses are invited to stop by for mocktails, Plant Plinko, a Wheel of Potions, and surprise giveaways throughout the evening.

Dry Spell wants to make it easier for people to discover the rapidly growing world of non-alcoholic drinks, whether they don’t drink alcohol, are taking a break from it, or just want more options for social occasions and everyday rituals. To make experimentation easier, the shop offers free daily tastings and sells all beers and ready-to-drink mocktails as individual cans and bottles, so customers can experiment without committing to a full pack.

In addition to shelves stocked with non-alcoholic wines, beers, spirits, and functional beverages, Dry Spell also carries a rotating selection of chilled ready-to-drink mocktails, sparkling wines, and alcohol-free beers in its grab-and-go cooler.

Visitors are welcome to enjoy a drink at one of the patio tables out front while the weather cooperates.

Dry Spell also offers non-alcoholic bartending services for private events, online ordering for in-store pickup and nationwide shipping, as well as free weekly local delivery to homes and businesses in the Burien area.
