On Thursday, Feb. 13, 2020, Burien Police Chief Ted Boe spoke at the Highline Good Neighbors public meeting, held at the Normandy Park Rec Center.

Boe spoke about the current states of our streets and safety. He was joined by members of LEAD (Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion), who discussed how they aid police in helping the homeless.

“Another AMAZING and informational evening last night with Burien Chief of Police Ted Boe and the LEAD organization and in how they aid the police in helping the homeless,” organizer Melissa Petrini said.

“Two ASL interpreters were provided, and one neighbor was able to ask questions with their help (thank you to The Friends of Normandy Park for providing this service!)/”

“And thank you to Melanie’s Dance Unlimited for the refreshments!”
