King County residents can now quickly and easily find ways to help with the COVID-19 response efforts, thanks to ‘Project C.A.R.E.,’ which officially launched Tuesday, April 14, 2020.

Project C.A.R.E. – for COVID-19 ACTION and RESPONSE ENLISTMENT – is a new, comprehensive website that lists opportunities for people to give back to their community, as well as help connect would-be volunteers with the organizations where their help is most needed.

“So many people have been looking for ways to support their community as we all navigate the impacts of COVID-19. That generosity is what first inspired me to create a one-stop shop to connect folks with opportunities to give back,” King County Councilmember Regan Dunn said. “In this time of crisis, my hope is that Project C.A.R.E. will unite our region and help us look out for each other.”

In addition to the website launch, Councilmember Dunn has released a series of videos highlighting the Project C.A.R.E. opportunities, including blood donations, food support, helping local healthcare services and more.
