The Seattle Christian School Board of Trustees, students, staff, families and community members announced that Chad McNatt will be its new Superintendent for the 2020-21 school year.

Chad began his educational career in the classroom and has extensive teaching experience at various grade levels. He holds a BA in Elementary Education from Harding University, Masters in Educational Leadership from Western Washington University, Masters in Ministry from Pepperdine University and is currently pursuing his PhD in Organizational Leadership from Concordia University.

Chad’s administrative experience includes serving as Secondary Principal in Kigali, Rwanda at the Kigali International Community School as well as Dean of Students at Cedar Heights Junior High School in Port Orchard, WA. For several years, Chad also served in ministry both in worship and as a lead Campus Pastor. He joined the Seattle Christian staff in the fall of 2018 serving as Elementary Principal. Under his leadership, the Seattle Christian elementary program showed significant growth that reflected both in program offerings and increased enrollment.

“As the 8th Superintendent in our 74-year history, I am honored to serve Seattle Christian School in this next chapter,” Chad said. “During my past two years at SCS as Elementary Principal, I quickly felt at home and all-in for our mission and our community. As we raise the next generation of young people amidst a challenging season in our nation and world, we must operate from a place of trust in the Lord. We want to invest well in developing heart and skill in our students, equipping them to be rooted in faith and character, while also gaining proficiency in the skills to live rewarding and purpose-filled lives.”
