Normandy Park Preschool is Now Enrolling for the 2021-22 School Year!

Normandy Park Preschool is excited to announce that we are returning to in classroom instruction this upcoming fall. Although there have been some changes, we are so excited about returning to preschool in person. We are open for registration and can’t wait to serve our community families.

Our goal at Normandy Park Preschool is to prepare students for kindergarten. We have three age groups of classes. Each group acts as a stepping stone to reaching kindergarten. At Normandy Park Preschool, we use a combination of play-based learning and intentional teaching strategies to achieve this goal of preparing students for kindergarten.

Our 2 ½ – 3 ½ class works on learning things like colors, the alphabet, shapes, counting & numbers. This group of students also works on fine motor skills such as coloring and cutting practice. Our 3 ½ – 4 ½ class builds on the skills learned in the previous class, while also learning new skills such as name tracing, calendar, and letter sounds. Our Pre-K class continues to build on the previous skills, while diving deep into the early math and literacy skills needed for kindergarten.

All age groups learn social and emotional skills through things like free play, show & tell, classroom jobs, and circle time. We also read stories, have music time, recess, and many more things here at Normandy Park Preschool.

If you are interested in registering a student into our program or if you have any questions, please contact our Program Director, JaVohn Perry, at (206)-248-8272 or jperry@normandyparkwa.gov.
