The Normandy Park City Council is preparing a proposition for voter consideration on whether the City shall issue the bonds for the purpose of building a new Civic Center on the Aug. 2, 2022, primary election ballot.

The City is now seeking Volunteers for pro and con committees to prepare statements on the proposed ballot issue.

How to Apply for a Committee
Committee appointments will be determined during the regular meeting of the Normandy Park City Council on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at 7:00 p.m.

Persons interested in applying for one of the Committee positions should submit name, contact information, and a brief statement as to why you would like to serve on one of the committees.

Please submit to Brooks Wall, City Clerk, by emailing bwall@normandyparkwa.gov or dropping off at City Hall, 801 SW 174th Street, Normandy Park, WA 98166. The deadline for signing up is Friday, April 8, 2022.

Committee Specifics
Each Pro and Con statement is limited to 200 words and is due no later than 4:30 p.m. on May 24. Any rebuttal statements are due by May 26. There is a limit of three members per committee; however, each Committee may seek the advice of any person or persons.
