Normandy Park City Manager’s Report for week ending Nov. 24, 2023
Coming Soon – Citizen Satisfaction Survey
Here at the City of Normandy Park, we work hard to provide the best services possible to our residents. And we would like to hear from you about how we are doing. So, in January 2024, we will launch a Resident Satisfaction Survey. This survey will give us your feedback and help us determine what areas and services are important to you!
The survey is designed only to take a few minutes to complete. It will cover areas like Public Safety, Parks, Public Works, Permitting, Communication, and overall service satisfaction. Your input will be a starting point for us to create a public action plan for any areas that need improvement or enhancements.
Results will also help us prepare a report card to share with the public. Participation is vital as this survey will serve as a starting point since we plan to make this a recurring activity. Keep your eye out for the survey in the winter edition of the City Scene magazine coming out in January!
Normandy Park ABCD Values Survey Complete
Presented to the Planning Commission at their regular November meeting, the Normandy Park 2044 ABCD Values survey results have highlighted the deeply held community values and areas of success in Normandy Park. One hundred thirty responses were received, with 65% of respondents affirming security and family upbringing as the most important community values. This is indicative of the widely held feeling of a small, safe town.
In continuing to use an Asset Based Community Development framework, Normandy Park will be able to plan and address issues from a positive, community-based point of view.
