Normandy Park residents subscribed to yard and food waste collection services can dispose of up to 96 gallons of storm debris without additional fees on two Tuesday pickup days – Nov. 12, and Nov. 26, 2024.

This added service comes as a response to recent storms, allowing residents to clear away storm-related debris alongside their regular compostable waste.

Yard debris includes:

  • Branches less than four inches in diameter, limbs and leaves.
  • Bundles up to two feet in diameter by four feet in length and no more than 55 pounds.

For disposal, storm debris should be placed in:

  • Extra garbage cans labeled “yard waste”
  • Kraft paper yard bags
  • Bundles using biodegradable string or twine

For more information on the collection guidelines, residents can visit the Waste Management website at wmnorthwest.com/normandypark or call 855-672-7596.
