Normandy Park City Manager’s Report for week ending Mar. 29, 2024

Citizen Satisfaction Survey Closes Friday, April 5th

There is still time to take the 2024 Citizen Satisfaction Survey. We plan to close it on Friday, April 5th. If you have not already, take the survey and let your voice be heard. You can use this link.

So far, we have received over 350 responses, with over 170 comments. Overall, the feedback has been positive. The survey asked residents to rank various services from very satisfied to very dissatisfied. It closes with the opportunity to share any thoughts on how we can improve services. So far, topics in this last section included:

  • Traffic enforcement
  • Sidewalks
  • Property Taxes
  • Parks
  • Communication with the public
  • Police Visibility

Is there something you want the City Council to know? There is no better way to deliver that message than by taking the survey. On average, the survey takes less than four minutes to complete. After the survey closes, we will compile the results to share them with the public. Thank you to all the residents for taking the time to complete the survey.

Take the Normandy Park Survey on Housing

Help Us Look Ahead to Normandy Park in 2044! Communities across Washington state are continuing their journeys through the 2024 Comprehensive Plan Update. The Normandy Park 2044: Housing Survey presents an opportunity for residents to give us their insights on the topic of housing, issues of residency, affordability, economic displacement, and our role in the region. Answers will be used to envision housing options in Normandy Park that are assets to the community, comforting to long-time residents and welcoming to new families and individuals.

Use this link or QR Code to take the survey. Surveys are also available in Spanish. For more information on the Periodic Update, please visit Normandy Park 2044 to stay informed and for ways to engage.

Arbor Day Poster Contest

Don’t forget to help us celebrate our upcoming Arbor Day Event by participating in the 2024 Arbor Day Poster Contest. The city is hosting an all-age art poster contest for the upcoming Arbor Day festivities. Posters are due by Monday, April 15th.
